One thing that I really loved about this place is the fact that it is located right under a very beautiful masjid, Aziziye Masjid. Having first visited the masjid after a very long exhausting day, the calm atmosphere of the masjid had already elevated that mood. Then visiting Aziziye Restaurant which was softly lit also making it a relaxing atmosphere and filled with many friendly staff really enhanced the experience of this visit. One of the waiters that really stood out to me was Eyren, he was very enthusiastic and friendly making us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Having said that they also have private seating however there’s a 10% charge which I think isn’t too bad because out of all the Turkish places I had visited this is the only place that didn’t have any service charge.

Pictured is the Chicken Beyti which was priced at £12.95 and the Iskinder Kebab which was also priced at £12.95. This place is well known for its Iskinder Kebab and Paca Soup. Didn’t get a chance to try the soup because of the very large quantity served which had already taken up the whole table but looking forward to visiting this place again to try its popular Paca soup. I got the Chicken Beyti which consisted of chicken pieces in a wrap with a modest layer of tomato sauce poured over it and served with yoghurt. Everything about it was on point from the consistency of the sauce to how well cooked the chicken kebab inside the wrap was and would therefore definitely recommend getting it. Alongside the main dishes, we had also ordered Ayran which is a salted yoghurt drink that I think really complimented the meal by maintaining the savoury flavour of the dish.
